Cory Phillips has applied his knowledge and experience in the financial industry by proposing well-thought-out, individualized settlement plans for his clients. As owner and Senior Settlement Consultant of The Forge Companies, Cory regularly speaks to continuing legal education seminars within programs associated with settlement disbursement issues.

He completed the certification for structured settlement professionals, administered by the National Structured Settlement Trade Association in cooperation with the University of Notre Dame Executive Education Department, earning his Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation. Cory holds licenses in life, health, and property and causality insurance.

Cory is a University of Georgia graduate and a three-year letterman for the Bulldogs. His mission-focused attitude began as a walk-on quarterback at the UGA, where he earned a scholarship by the end of his first year. In 2019, the UGA Alumni Association named Cory to their 40 Under 40, a list of young alumni leaders in their industries and communities.

In 2016, Cory joined the Advisory Board for the Brain Injury Association of Georgia.

Originally from Northeast Georgia, Cory now lives in Kennesaw with his wife and children.
